CREDC is certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development as the only Area Loan Organization serving Cumberland and Dauphin counties as well as an Industrial Development Corporation. In this capacity many of the state's economic development loan programs are facilitated by CREDC for the businesses of our region. CREDC is audited and tested annually to maintain these certifications which attest to its professional capacity to underwrite and service business loans with the Commonwealth's economic development programs.
The economic development loans that CREDC provides are designed to stimulate businesses to invest in their growth and future thereby creating and retaining jobs in our region. CREDC partners with financial institutions across our region to supply apportion of business financing needs at lower fixed interest rates, giving borrowers the capacity and potential to make a larger impact on our community.
